Just because TikTok loves it doesn't mean it'll work for you.
It’s giving toxic
My skin was in a really bad place after college. I was going out and partying a lot: I was a club DJ for two years which meant it was my literal job to be running on no sleep, plus I was in a toxic relationship with my ex. That entire lifestyle definitely took its toll. Plus, no one’s thinking about drinking enough water or eating a vegetable when they’re getting home at 3am every night lol. I was looking at old photos from when I first met Brendan and I couldn’t believe my skin looked like that.
I was prescribed antibiotics for an entire year as a solve for my skin, and it did not clear up my acne. In fact—and this might be TMI, sorry—it started to cause yeast infections. So I decided to adopt a more holistic approach to fixing my skin, and that started with fixing my gut. I changed my diet, started getting colonics regularly, switched up my products (fragrance free made a big impact for me personally), found some amazing practitioners, replaced some tequila sodas with regular water and started taking supplements. It required consistency but the difference felt immediate.
